Frozen 2: Falls Short of 1

Frozen 2 is a good for a sequel and has catchy songs but fails to deliver anything spectacular.

Highlights: 

• Great songs

• Same likable characters

• Beautiful animation

Lowlights: 

• Nothing amazing

• At times predictable

• Anna is portrayed poorly

Frozen 2 is just what you'd expect. It has the same main characters, more good music, and an interesting story. However, it's nothing special. The story isn't as unique or inspiring as the original's, and I had a problem with how Anna was often portrayed around her boyfriend Kristoff. It bothered me that Anna seemed to adhere by stereotypes of women, and I was annoyed that the writers couldn't have found another obstacle for their relationship. However, it was an uplifting film and is definitely great for kids.
